This position is responsible for workflow coordination and organization within the Audit/Delinquency Department of the Pension Fund, including providing support to Audit
Manager, in addition to handling special projects for the Pension Fund Office.
The incumbent works with minimal instruction or supervision and must be able to multitask and prioritize a wide variety of assignments. The incumbent will be the focal point for responsibilities as designated by the Audit Manager. Candidate must be well organized, and exercise the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Must have the ability to work well under pressure. Advanced written and communication skills required.
• Research and review Contracts and Signature Pages
• Send notification letters to employers of up-coming audits
• Provide reports and assistance to auditors
• Send audit participation letters to local unions
• Keep accurate records of all audits for tracking
• Calculate interest on all audits when needed
• Notifies employers of audit delinquencies and handles complete collections process to
include emailing and calling employers for audit payment
• Keep well organized files of all documents for audits
• Data processing of audit reports
• Organize the flow of local union audits and payment
• Tracks all audit costs and legal fees associated with audits
• Sends no deficiency audits and closes all files upon completion
• Assist and tracks employers for possible withdraw
• Provides assistance with all miscellaneous processes within the Department
• Provides assistance on special projects
1 to 3 years of administrative office experience preferred. Computer literacy required.
Use of the computer is approximately 90% of the day. Forty (40) hours will constitute the regular work week. The working hours will be eight (8) with half an hour or one hour for lunch per day. Optional flex start times begin at 7:00am until 8:30am.
